Dance Mats
SLAM currently have 18 mobile dance mats. The dance mats are all linked to the same multiplayer system, so up to 18 people can play and compete against each other at the same time.
The dance mats are taken out into the community by the SLAMCATZ team. The dance mats have been a huge success with children in the community. They have brought in kids who would not normally visit the centre as it is a different and fun way of working out.
The dance mats can improve cardiovascular fitness, co-ordination, agility, balance and motor skills.
