Welcome to the Spectrum Leisure Complex
the home of SLAM Community Development Trust
SLAM C.D.T. are responsible for the day to day management and development of the Spectrum Leisure Complex, having taken over the runing of the complex from Wear Valley District Council in July 2007.
SLAM C.D.T have heavily invested in redevelopments and have completed a refurbishment of the former Arrivals II building. A new extension to the front has just been completed with a new multipurpose function room and reception area now open, with a new cafe due to open in the near future.
The complex can now offer a range of sporting and non sporting activities covering all ages of the community.
The SLAM C.D.T team consists of 16 members of staff with the support of 7 Trustees. The whole team have recieved tremendous support from the local community and would like to thank its funders who have supported the Trust in its development.
